Our families, communities, and workers deserve reform of federal chemical safety laws that will truly protect public health and the environment from chemicals like BPA and other endocrine-disrupting chemicals. But a bill the US Senate is now considering, the Chemical Safety Improvement Act (CSIA, S. 1009), would leave us unprotected from toxic chemicals.

The truth is, the CSIA, as drafted, does not advance prevention, protect public health, or even reduce harm. That’s why we are calling on the Senate to amend the CSIA and include common-sense protections we all care about, such as adequately reviewing the safety of chemicals before allowing their use.

You can help by sending the below message to your Senator now. Thank you for standing up for health!
